can any one understand what he says in the end , referring to the part after “we are breathing fire?)………. i am here to remind you”, after that he says something like dont you (fashasa……? ) baby?
Hi kittuandme. I’ve wondered about that line also. Here’s an a capella version of “They Don’t Care about Us” – it sounds kind of weird with the instrumentation stripped out, but it lets you hear the words more clearly:
The part you’re talking about starts around 3:15 in this link, and it kind of sounds like he’s singing, “Don’t you sit back and watch that, baby.” When I listen to this song on my car stereo, I always think he’s singing something about “responsibility” – that that’s the last word of this line – but listening to the a capella version, that doesn’t seem right.
Oh, and instead of singing, “We’re breathing fire,” I think he’s singing “We’re deep in the fire.” He sings in twice, starting around 3:00 in.

Can you tell me what does it mean when the girl at the beginning of the “They Don’t Care About Us” (prison version) video covers her face with her hands? Also all the prison guys cover their face in the video too. What does that mean?
He’s saying “You keep me in the fire!”.
